Up for sale isWWIIEraUS Army M1905E1 Bayonet with M7 Scabbard for the M1 Garand Rifle. The M1905E1 Bayonet is basically a modified M1905 or M1942 Bayonet. In late 1942 it was decided to reduce the lengthofthe bayonet to 10\". This new bayonet wasdesignated the M1 Bayonet.In an effort to standardize the inventory,all existing M1905 and M1942 bayonetscut down to a 10\" length and the tips were reshaped. Note howthe blood groove extends to the tip of the bayonet. It is marked:UFH1942 over US w/Flaming Bomb.UFH isUnion Fork & Hoe Co. It has black plastic grips and the M7 Scabbard. The scabbard is marked US with the Flaming Bomb. The bayonet is used, see photo\'s for condition. No rust on the blade. No nicks or chips in the blade. No evidence of excessive sharpening. Very minor finish wear. Very nice overall condition. This example has a \"Spear\" shaped tip. This bayonet will fit the the following rifles: M1903 or M1903A3 Springfield or the M1 Garand Rifles.
