You are offerding on avintage WWII Era, Distinctive Unit Insignia, for the3rd Army, which fought in Europe under the command of General George S. Patton. On this one, the red is a maroon color and the blue isa dark Navy blue.

This is a WW2 pin-back,size being approximately7/8\" in diameter, with working clasp, in excellent condition. This is the condition in which the pin was originally issued. The enameled surface of the pin isvery shiny, and sometimes difficult to photograph. Although not marked, thispinis mostlikely Sterling andguiloche enameled, which is typical for these pins.
