Description of the glasses in the sale. (Study the photos closely, they are always the bestdescription)

For sale is a 100% original set of WWII Aviator sunglasses. Manufactured by the Willsonite company for US pilots and Navyservicemen. The set is in good condition, and ready to wear. They retain 90% of their originalnickel finish anddisplaynicely. The lenses are made of optical glass and have the early generation green shade. The lenses do have signs of use and have a few faint cleaning scratches and a few tiny specs in them. But they are very small and onlynoticeableunder very close examination. The imperfections do not effect the overall performance and look of the set. There are No frame edge chips in the lenses and the lenses sit tight in theirframes. Thecelluloid nose pads are in good condition with no cracking but do have somediscoloration from age.The glasses have the Willsonite trademark etched above each lens. Overall length of the frames measuring from hinge to hinge is 5-1/2\". Eachlens measures 58mm across. The Glasses come with their original leather case. The case is in good condition with no cracking in the leather and is fully functional. The felt interior is in perfect condition. Overall a great example of an original set. Just think what wasoriginallyseen through these glasses.
