~ Vintage WAHL EVERSHARP Fountain Pen

Very nice 14k Gold Nib w/ flex

~ This pen is more of a writing tool than a collectible, Circa 1927, The nib is the star of this pen, The pen has wear, The lapis blue is darkened, the Pocket Clip is missing (You can see the place in the cap topper that the clip used to be), the name \"Merle White\" is engraved on the side & there is some Brassing to the gold filled trim. 3 Tight Trim rings, Very nice Nib & No cracks though! :-)

4 & 7/16\" capped & 5 & 5/8\" posted. - approx. the same size & diameter as a Waterman 52V, The cap topper is gold Filled Metal, 2 tight cap bands, perfect cap lip (see photos)

The Pen has a brand new Quality ink sac installed, the lever & filling mechanism works perfectly. the feed & section has all been internally cleaned.

PLEASE READ; Very nice & attractive 14K Gold \"Wahl\" #2 \"SIGNATURE\" Flex Nib, graceful tines and perfect iridium tipping. Very Fine point , Some would call this nib a Wet Noodle or VERY flexy , Smooth on paper. Fine point to 1.9mm with out pushing it to far, easy to medium pressure to flex, nice line variation. smooth fine line writing unflexed with a light hand, (you most likely will flex with out trying) it May railroad if you flex/use the ink to fast, Dipping the nib in ink before a lot of flexing will help, but for normal writing mixed with some flex you should be fine.

The Paper is from a Rhodia Dotpad No. 16, the dots are 5mm apart to help you gauge the line variation. The inks are Waterman South Sea Blue, & Diamine Ancient Copper.
