The name WAHL-EVERSHARP is a revered one in the history of writing instruments. EVERSHARP, the inventor and first successful mass marketer of the mechanical pencil, goes back to 1915. WAHL was the brand name given to some of the finest fountain pens ever made and goes back to 1917.
In this lot we have a short, pocket-sized Wahl Eversharp mechanical pencil from the 1930s.The pencil has a beautiful \"organic\" textured olive green barrel fitted with Baroque-inspired Gold-filled Brass top and rings.
Has a simple lead-drawing mechanism by twisting the top. The pencil has expected normal wearing - small scratches and spots on the metal elements. There are no cracks, no dents, no damages on the barrel. The mechanism works well without glitches.
