This is a walnut victorian armoire signed by Joseph B. Hubbard New Orleans. The armoire is circa 1880. The armoire is in as found condition. The finish is good and I would not refinish it. It has been stored for 20+ years. All I did was oil it. The armoire breaks down for easy moving. This armoire has no screws holding it together. It is held together with slotted panels and crown wedges. The only screws are the two that hold the top pediment on. It is all original except for the door locks and the one small interior shelf. The lock has been replaced with a key and the small shelf is not original. The armoire is an impressive size. It measures 97 3/4\" tall with the pediment attached, 90 1/2\" tallwithout the pediment, 65 1/4\" wide and 23\" deep at the crown, and 57\" wide and 23\" deep at the base. The base has 2 drawers. The interior of the armoire has 4 hooks for hanging clothes. Shipping can be arrange through TSC Movingto mostlocations at the buyers expense. Other movers are available to outer regions.
