This is a pair of original production cels used in the creation of the 1982 Walt Disney cult film, TRON. The untrimmed cels measures 12.5\" x 20\" with the image on the cel measuring 12.5\" x 20\". These cels were used for backlight animation technique, where the live-action scenes inside the computer world were filmed in black-and-white on a black set, then printed on large format Kodalith high-contrast film and hand-colored with photographic and rotoscopic techniques to give them a “technological” appearance.These cels are in great condition and come with a Van Eaton Galleries certificate of Authenticity.
