Here is a Solid 14K Yellow Gold Pocket Watch made by Watham, in a full hunter case with dust cover. It weighs 99 grams total, including the movement, face, crystal and any other non-gold elements. The serial number,7,497,540,indicates that it is a 17 Jewel Model 1888 movement made between October 1897 and April 1889. This 16 Sizepocket watch is just spectacular. I has a beautiful vitrious enamel dial that I believe was made by the Waltham O\'Hara Dial Co. The dial is milky white with a certain etherial appearance. It is heavily hand decorated with gold beaded decorations, including stars, crescent moons, leafy vines, seconds markers, and circles around the arabic numbers.

It was not working when we obtained it. We had thewatch inspected, cleaned, serviced, and themainspring replaced. It is running and keeping time.

It has gold Louis XIV hands, and small sapphire blue stones marking every 5 minutes around the outer edge of the dial, every other hour encircling the center post, and every 5 seconds on the second hand dial. Written in pale blue around a blue ornate medalian surrounding the center post it reads,American Waltham, and the second hand dial is painted on it in blue. The face is in excellent pre-owned condition with no cracks, scratches, chips, breaks or missing parts. The photos show that the items in black and blue do show some wear.

The case is Solid 14K YellowGold with machine turned finishing on both sides. There areno monograms, dents, cracksor scratches. The 17 jewel movement is beautifully damaskeened.
