This beautiful Walt Disney Classics Collection ( WDCC ) porcelain figurine was a special one-day, event exclusive, Limited Edition release in the Spring of 2000. It is titled \"My Little Bambi,\" from the scene in the original Disney video movie showing Bambi the deer as a newborn fawn sleeping beside his mother. It is approximately 9 inches long and 6.5 inches tall, and has the Sorcerer\'s hat production mark on the bottom.

There are somefaint marks on Bambi\'s mother\'s neck and jawline and her right ear. I do not know if they were caused by beingstored in the Styrofoam packaging for so long, if they are faint scratches onthe paint, or if it is something else, but if they are scratches they appear tobe superficial. It was very difficult toget it to show in the photos, but you may see a whitish area on her neck /shoulder, ear, or jawline. There is a visible factory flaw on Bambi\'stail. There appears to be an air bubbleunder the paint on his tail, which has caused a slightly raised spot.

The sculpture is in the original WDCC box with its Certificate of Authenticity (COA). It also includes the butterfly charm that was originally sold with the sculpture. Please ask about the box condition if that is important to you.
It would be a wonderful holiday display piece for the Bambi or Disneyana fan on your list. It would also be a great nursery decoration.
