This is new, perfect condition “Where’s Waldo” kind of book, called “Where’s Charles and Di?”, published in 1992. It’s a beautifully printed, large (10” x 12½“) book with 28 pages with 8 double-page scenes where you have to search to find Charles and Diana (the cover drawing shows what they look like, although they may be in different costume). The various scenes are 1) The Royal Wedding- St. Paul’s Cathedral, 2) The Royal Honeymoon - Las Vegas 3) The Royal Ascot 4) The Taj Mahal 5) Ayers Rock - Australian Outback, 6) White House Reception for the Royals 7) The America’s Cup - Newport and 8) the Queen’s Birthday at Buckingham Palace. At the back, there is a checklist of items for each scene to see if you spotted other member of the Royal Family, Historic and Fictional Figures, and other wacky people and things.
Yes, it’s tacky, crazy, and irreverent. But, this book is also a funny satire on both the Brits and the US folk; and is a fun item to have sitting around, and great for Royal Family enthusiasts. The cover is thick, and so are the glossy pages. Again, the condition is new, perfect, no marks, scuffs, tears, odors; it\'s a new book! The photo is of the actual book for sale.
