For your consideration, here is a pair of vintage white onyx alabaster bookends beautifully and meticulously hand carved to depict Mexican men in sombreros having a siesta , each leaning against a cactus plant. The aesthetic appeal of these bookends is enhanced by the complement of variegated rust and earth brown colors against white ice onyx. The bookends are approximately 8-3/4\" tall by 3-1/2\" wide by 4-3/8\" deep. The pair of bookends collectively weigh over 5 pounds, six ounces.
