A rare find!This sterling silver topped humidor is by Whiting and appears to be in the Imperial Queen pattern by Whiting. The top is fancy with a pretty shell pattern and engraved with an ornate intertwined script monogram.the top as well as the glass jar are on extremely good condition. There are some tiny, shallow edge dents in the silver. Also, there is a repair to the arm that would hold the sponge on the underside of the top, not visible from the top. The glass looks good, no chips or cracks. This piece measures 5\" tall and 3 1/2\" across. It is marked with the Whiting makers mark and also stamped sterling pat pat 1893.
