This CD featuresexcellent POWER METAL from this great U.S. Metal band.This band features excellent music in the vein of SAVATAGE, W.A.S.P., and WICKED ANGEL.

These guys KILL! Wicked Lester plays classic but awesome dark US power metal and they sound more serious (deadly serious, if you ask me) than any other power metal band around (especially comparing to european childish \"tra-la-la\" power metal). They had all things needed to become great metal band: raw energy, emotions, ideas... What they didn\'t have is luck. If you\'re looking for dark but extremely melodic US power metal with powerful vocals full of passion then look no further, Wicked Lester is a band for you. Reason why they never made it huge is obvious: death of Joel Finna, who died before album was even released! Evil skull cover artwork is a killer, looks very simple but perfectly goes with the music. First thing you\'ll notice here is Joel Finna who is fantastic singer and has so much passion and energy in his voice that it\'s just frightening! His vocals are so \"dirty\", powerful and have that hard rock charm that will make you wanna sing along with him all the time. Guitarists, Larry Dalo and Angelo Davis, really know their job because they constantly throw in some melodic parts and riffs so it never gets boring. Also, intros to \"Restless Souls\" and \"Eyes Of The Holy\" sound very \"dark\" and make great atmosphere. Rhythm section, Guy Bechter and Mideo Octavio, is perfect. Drums and bass just follows the guitars and vocals so you won\'t hear any crazy drum solos or bass improvisations but just standard playing. Although this album is not total-80s-sounding-metal (but it\'s not modern in any way, that\'s for sure) it has that genuine US metal spirit, lots of great vocal melodies and warm sound that every US metal freak simply adores.
