MEDIUM: oil on board

CONDITION: painting overall is in good condition withslight edge wear to thesides andcorner- very dirty due to age and would benefit from a cleaning. Frame is newer than the painting but shows well - in good condition with light wear to edges.

REF: This is a fine folk art painting of a doctor visiting a rural home in a country landscape. Old country house with landscape - dated 1905 and signed by \"L. Widdowson\". Purchased from a Southern California estate. Further research is needed regarding the artist. Frame is newer and looks to be from the 1950s but shows well - sold as found.
