I have decided to sell my vast Native American jewelry and artifact collection over the next several years. All items will be sold to the highest buyer at , just a low wholesale starting price. I will NOT end sales early, please don’t ask. You can rest assured that your item of interest will be available for purchase at the close of the sale. I have put this collection together over the last 40 years and these items are the best of the best of what I have purchased. Have fun with the sales and best of luck! The last two photos in this listing will give you an idea of the variety and extent of this fabulous museum worthy collection. You are only offerding on the item described below.

Fred Harvey era wide heavy sterling silver band type Navajo bracelet with applied silver bars at the terminals. The bracelet has a low profile triangular central element, plain silver edge rails, and squared off elements with simple geometric stamp work in between. The inside of the bracelet is a continuous silver sheet. I don’t know if the top elements were applied to this plate or if they were chiseled out. Possibly the latter, because this is an early bracelet.

Excellent quality and condition with a nice mellow patina. Ca. late 1930’s bracelet is hallmarked “U.S. NAVAJO 70”. During the 2nd quarter of the 1900’s the Indian Arts and Crafts Board (IACB) encouraged trading posts to identify their authentic Navajo jewelry with the “U.S. Navajo” designation and assigned each trading post with an identification number. Number “70” corresponds to the Navajo Arts and Crafts Guild in Fort Wingate, New Mexico. “U.S” Navajo” designated jewelry is VERY collectible!
