\"Knight\'s Gambit\" by William Faulkner. First edition, first printing with original first state dust jacket. Published by Random House, New York, 1949. The dust jacket is in very good condition. Light wear and chips to the panels and spine. Tape adhered to the top and bottom edges of the verso. The original price of $2.75 is present on the front flap. The book is in very good to near fine condition. The red cloth boards are extremely well preserved with crisp edges. The front endpaper has some damage at the top edge, which is missing some paper and has glue residue. A tape repair was made to the verso of the endpaper where the paper is missing. The contents are clean, tight, and bright.
