This is a remarkable opportunity to own a very rare, extremely limited edition set of William Henry kitchen/chef knives. William Henry\'s Maestro Collection is, simply put, the finest chef\'s cutlery ever produced. The blades are hand crafted from Wave Damascus with a ZDP 189 core steel, surrounded by an amazing 44 layers of alternating stainless steel alloys. This set comes with cocobolo wood handles, sculptured stainless steel bolsters and are unique in they are indeed, hand made, hand assembled and hand crafted at every level. The compelling arched display rack is iconic and is embedded with rare earth magnets to hold each blade securely in its slot. The William Henry logo is affixed in the form of a case medallion at the base of the curved blade holder. I bought this set some years ago as a birthday gift for my wife, who loves to cook. She is a William Henry collector, and has treated these knives with the care and attention they deserve, while still enjoying their utility in the kitchen. Each knife has been carefully treated, and displayed proudly. Each knife remains razor sharp. There are very tiny wear marks (they were used to help prepare countless meals), but we are a \"knife\" family, so understand the care and attention fine cutlery demands. This amazing set is essentially as-new. Unfortunately, during a trans-continental move, the original box was misplaced, along with the serial number certificate, however we do have the original boxes for the individual knives. This set will never be produced again, and from what I understand (although I may not be remembering correctly) it was limited to about a dozen sets when first produced. They are elegant in the hand, cut effortlessly and always produce awed comments from visitors to our kitchen. As you can see, the display arch is stunning.
