Description:William IV pair of solid silver 8\"serving spoons 1835 168 grams, rare king date
They each measure 8\" in length with a combined weight of 168 grams each a matching pair same size same weight same hallmark year.
They each bear a full set of British hallmarks for letter u for 1835 the leopards head hallmark for the city of London.They each have a mongram of a detailed wheatchief. Surprisingly although the same year they are by different makers one is WB for William Bateman II , the other makers mark is rubbed.
The design of each spoon is identical & they are from a period in history for akings duty mark which was very short & therefore less of these survive.
