.30-30 Winchester Commemorative Two(2) Knife Set (one fixed blade and one folding) issued as a Limited Edition in 2005 marking the 110th anniversary of the famous .30-30 Winchester cartridge.

Developed in 1895 as the first smokeless cartridge specifically designed for big game hunting, the .30-30 Winchester cartridge achieved legendary status along with the Winchester model 1894 lever action rifle.

Beautifully presented within a traditionally-styled Winchester decorative tin box. The external dimensions of this box are 5.5\" by 11.5\" by 2\". The picture on the lid is of two hunters looking down on the body of a bull elk in a snowy winter forest. One is holding a Winchester 1894 lever action rifle.

.30-30 COMMEMORATIVE KNIFE SET

The set includes a 5.5\" blade fixed blade full tang (4.5\") Bowie-style hunting knife with a brass handguard and a beautifully laminated rosewood grip. The grip has three brass spacers and a lanyard hole. Overall length of this beautiful hunting knife is 10\". A black ballistic nylon sheath with snap is included. The blade is engraved with the LIMITED EDITION

Also included is a 5.5\" length folding knife with walnut grips and three brass spacers. Each end of the wooden grip is fitted with beautiful brass, and the rear fitting has a small lanyard hole in it. It is also similarly engraved as the Bowie.

Also included with these fine knives is a Winchester 110th Anniversary Commemorative pin.

The knives and pin are displayed in specially fitted maroon-colored felt lining.

This set have never been used, and have been stored in this original tin presentation case.
