Condition rating is based on mymany, many years of collecting and browsing firearms memorabilia. Remember thatwe are talking “vintage and antique” items that were in the real worldEnvironment. Examine the photos – I tryto include multiple viewpoints to show condition.

Like New = with empty boxesit would be unusual to find a factory fresh item, but it does happen!

Mint = box is like new ornear it

Excellent = box is clean,solid, very little scuffing/edge wear and all parts are present

Very Good = box may show somehandling scuffs/marks and a bit of grime that would be found with normaluse. Box will be solid, but may bemissing a minor piece (such as an end flap)

Good = box will havescuffing and may have bending or cracks.May have some missing pieces.Label or print may be faded or darkened, but will be legible. Overall the box will still have displayappeal.

Fair = box will showdefinite wear, fading/darkening, creases or cracks and missing parts. NOTE that sometimes the front or label panelmay be in Good or better condition, but the rest of the box is dismal. These still make good display items to somedegree.

Poor = box is a memory ofits former glory – If it’s in overall Poor condition I will not list the item –but may toss it in with a LOT sale.

Shipping &Handling Note: Weight of these empty boxes is minimal, however,in order to protect the item(s) from being mashed, squashed and otherwiseabused I will add extra packing. Shippingwill be via USPS First Class Parcel (up to 12 oz.) OR by Priority Mail flatrate, whichever is best suited.
