Here we offer the true first US edition, first print run, of A.A. Milne\'s classic,Winnie thePooh,published by E.P. Dutton and Company, New York, in 1926. Densely illustrated and featuring tales of all the beloved Winnie the Pooh characters, this book is a delightful classic. It comes in a very hard to find facsimile dust jacket of the first US edition, which isprinted with archival inks on ph-neutral paper,sleeved in mylar, and ready to slip into your collection.

Boards are well worn, bowed, and their cloth is wrinkled; front endpapers have been replaced with facsimile acid-free decorated papers; front blank flyleaf is also a replacement page. Many small issues: small tears or rubs, some light stains and smudges, some foxing, but no crayoning or writing thankfully. I\'ve tried to photograph most of the issues. The good news is the binding is very tight and square, the text and illustrations are bright and crisp. 159 pages, approximately 7.5 x 5-inches.
