First American Edition, First PrintingNew York: E. P. Dutton, 1926. First Edition, First Printing, with the copyright page dated 1926, with no subsequent printings listed. In Good condition, showing light signs of use and age. Edge and corner wear to the cloth, with fraying to corners, a few speckles of white paint and rubbing to boards and gilt stamping. The gilt stamping to the spine is almost completely rubbed. The binding is lightly shaken with a few signatures a bit tender. The pages are for the most part clean, with a few blemishes, including a child\'s scribble to one page. A few page corners are creased. Previous owner name penned onto front free end paper. First American edition of this beloved classic.
