William B. KERR Co. ANTIQUE STERLING NAPKIN RING, ART NOUVEAU BEAUTIESThe style of this American sterling napkin ring is most innovative even for Art Nouveau. Appearing around the ring are the heads of three beautiful women, two facing left and one facing right. The work is extremely detailed. The napkin ring, instead of being round at the ends, has the silver turned up in various places to successfully augment the Art Nouveau design. On the inside of the ring (see last picture) appears the William B. Kerr mark, the word \"sterling\", and the number 197. On the outside the name \"Mary\" has been inscribed, as well as the date, April 27, 1926, though the napkin ring may very well have been made earlier. The diameter opening is 1.75 inches and the width is 1.5 inches. It weighs 1.4 ounces on an accurate postal scale. Look below this description box for the picture of the sterling and maker\'s mark.
