Fascinating piece of history, an 8x10 sheet with some fold breaks and an internal tear, at a fold area, that represents the Cleveland Administration Land Grant of 1893, given to a settler named Susie Phelps. This area of land grant was former Indian land in Oklahoma. Document is dated Sept. 20 1893. On the back in light pencil, are a couple attempts to compose an adby this woman to take in sewing and clothing production, probably placed in a newspaper after the grant was finalized.
Nearly all of these lots come from the same very large collections purchased over time in Pennsylvania and Florida.
