A lovely antique English sterling silver Albertine of the late Victorian period. This one is a total of 11 inches in length and has a silvel fastener to one end that works properly. This was where the pocket watch was suspended. ON the other end is a perfect tassel fob. Towards the center is T bar and a faith, hope and charity fob. The heart being of the puff variety, hallmarked Birmingham 1896. This is the only stamp on the item, although it has been tested as sterling silver, guaranteed. It was common on there that each part of the Albertine came from a different manufacturer, ie the swivel, T bar , fob and chain etc. Therefore many had different date letters attached. The only one marked in this is the heart which needs a magnifying glass to read. The heart has small tiny marks from use and the fact it is hollow. Otherwise it is in perfect condition It could use one solder along the length of the rope liked chain to make it perfect. A RARE PIECE, WEIGHING 12.5 GOOD LUCK.
