Exceptional antique/vintage 14 Kt. gold Italian hand-carved shell cameo pin-pendant. This stunning cameo is 2 3/8\" long by 2\" wide by 5/8\" deep and weighs approximately 20 grams. The large shell cameo is absolutely stunning. It was carved by a master carver and has exquisite detail. The lovely lady featured in this cameo has grapes, leaves and flowers in her beautifully coiffed hair and on her shoulder, along with a gold and genuine diamond necklace. The setting is 14 Kt. gold filigree with leaf details. The back of this pendant has a hidden flip-up bail and a spring ring clasp, which is stamped \"14 Kt.\". This cameo is as good as they get from every perspective. It is in excellent antique condition. The spring ring clasp needs an adjustment as it doesn\'t seem to lock down fully, but that is the only issue I can find with this wonderful piece of art.
