Dense quilting and a gorgeous, c1860 Garibaldi Red Print makes this early quilt a stand out!

We have just finished hand laundering this beautiful quilt, for its\' first time. It is stunning, and clean.

It is expertly hand quilted at 7-8 stitches per inch and has quilted grid work with squares that measure just 7/8\" x 7/8\" covering the entire ground (Wow!)

It is hand bound.

It measures 71\" x 62\"

VERY good condition. There is one teeny, rice size surface hole and some binding wear on two sides. (See photos.) There is also light storage spotting and tanning that was too light to photograph. Really exceptional condition for the age of this quilt!

For the advanced collector, wonderful for a civil war display.
