This is a wonderful sale on a genuine Early 1900\'s GERMAN RED ROOF DOLLHOUSE! The finish is ALL ORIGINAL, with NO touch-ups of any kind. Most of the original markings on the bottom read: MADE IN GERMANY. (See photo # 12) It is 9 INCHES wide and measures 7 and 1/4 INCHES in height. (It is 9 INCHES from front to back, an extra inch if you include the front step!) This darling little cottage-type house is FABULOUSLY MADE and is FINE! The original grey step is still at the front of the porch! (This piece is ALWAYS MISSING!) All paint and finish is ALL original with no touch-ups of any kind. The paper detailing is all original, with no repairs! The darling little flowers in the two front window boxes are ORIGINAL too! The front door opens and closes as it should. The right side opens and closes as it should also! The original hook is still there and holds the end closed as it should. I have included a \"room-sized\" paper carpet. (just because I thought that it looked good in the cottage, but the cottage did not come with a carpet originally.) It looks like a paper window may have been originally on the end that opens? Also, the red paper tape that goes the length of the hip of the roof, looks like it may be an old replacement? I am not sure about this. The front left corner of the red roof has a bit of wear. (See photo # 1 and photo # 2) Please see ALL of the photos to appreciate the detailing and craftsmanship in this little treasure! Just a fine little work of art! This dollhouse miniature comes from a non-smoking and pet-free Environment and has no odors of any kind.
