Beautiful rectangular form embossed front and back with the figure of a cat, richly gilt, emerald eyes and clasps. The back of the glass mirror is mounted with a tablet for making notes and two compartments and original chain connected to the pencil. One of the ears and the tip of the tail sticks out of the frame.

The interior of the box is beautifully \"Vermeil\" (gold washed).

Other small marks inside a cartouche on the compartments, probably are a crab or a bug. The chain has marked too, shown in pictures.

This treasure is not marked with Kuppenheim\'s mark but undoubtedly is attributed to him.

Condition: In VERY GOOD condition as pictured. On front, one green stone on the bow are missing. It has the original beveled glass for mirror, but it was cleaned and it lost the reflection. The hinges and clasp are in perfect working order to close it tightly.
