Wonderful Pair of 19th C Staffordshire Figural Whippet Inkwells:

These Staffordshire inkwells are in the form of whippets lying on blue bases. They date from the mid to 3rd quarter of the 19th Century and each measure approximately 5 + ½ inches tall, 7 + 3/8 inches long, and 2 + ½ inches at their widest point. They are in excellent condition with the exception of crazing, minor staining, and light wear on the paint and gilt, as can be seen in the photos.
