Description

VINTAGE Christmas ORNAMENT

Wonderful vintage Clothtique Santa Claus ornament measuring about 5-1/2\" tall. Featuring Kris Kringle sporting a red coat and cap with fabric trim, composition trousers are blue, tucked into black boots. Holding a tiny bottle brush tree in one hand, he carries a sack over one should filled with little painted wood packages. Complete with fabric belt and large gold buckle, has has been hand painted with fine detail - fabric has been stiffened to add detail and feels similar to oil cloth. Bearing the original MADE IN TAIWAN REPUBLIC OF CHINA label on one foot, he is complete with gold cord for hanging - he will not stand independently. I purchased him in the early to mid-1980s and have displayed him for years on our \"country Christmas\" tree. Distressed to mimic age, condition is very nice with no damage other than light age related display wear. Just a charming old fellow - perfect addition to any Christmas tree or holiday display!
