Vintage Blue Bird Toffee Tin with Dutch Children and Umbrella

So adorable, this vintage toffee tin from Blue Bird is decorated on the lid with three Dutch children standing under an umbrella in the rain. The artwork on the lid is in very nice shape, with very little paint loss. From the Home Sweet Home series, and dating to circa 1950. Made in England.

The vintage wear and patina includes some small areas of wear, some small scratches and scuffs, some handling marks and normal vintage soiling, some small dents and dings, etc. Small area of sticker residue near one corner of lid. Metal rims have darkened. Light-ish vintage patina inside, possibly some early rust starting at the crevice. Bottom has dark patina. Tin is difficult to open and close.

Again, condition issues of note:

· Difficult to open and close.

· Small area of sticker residue on lid near one corner.

Approximate size of tin is about 5 5/8” by 3 7/8” by about 1.5” tall.

The tin is empty.
