Here is an interesting and unusual piece of vintage Ekeby Pottery. The heavy base appears to be a pie plate, complete with scalloped edge, it has a nice variated mellow tan semi-gloss glaze. The figure that lounges at the side is a surprise! She’s a saucy nude, in a deep red-purple gloss glaze and distinctive Art Deco style. The plate measures 7-3/4\" in diameter and is 1-1/4\" high (and quite thick). The figure is 3-3/4\" tall, which brings the total height to 5\". In perfect condition.
