TRIBE: The frogs appear to be Zuni and the cast silver could actually be Navajo or Zuni
ARTIST/MARK: "AZ7AE" is faintly scratched into the back and is believed to be a traders code
APPROX. SIZE: 1-7/8" wide with an inside of 5" from end to end plus a 1-1/4" opening. Great for a smaller 6-1/4" wrist --- HEAVY WHOPPING 91 grams / 3.37 ounces
CONDITION: Excellent condition with no damage to the frogs or the silver
MATERIALS: Heavy cast sterling silver with three carved turquoise frog fcetishes
Delightfulvintage Native American handmade bracelet featuring three wonderful frog fetishes that are clearly hand-carved. The silver work is also very high quality. It is heavy cast sterling silver with a hand stamped design and silver drops anchoring the center frog.
This is a great older bracelet for those with a smaller wrist. Frogs fetishes are highly sought after. The bracelet is fun and very well balanced so it is very comfortable to wear. The white in the frogs is actually quartz and looks much more obvious in the pictures than in person. It is simply not near as distracting when you see it and even less when you wear it.
This is a well balanced high quality bracelet that would make a perfect addition to any collection.
