You are offerding on a wonderful old Volkstedt Dresden Lace figurine of a courting couple dancing.

This is a beautiful figurine of a gentleman & lady with lovely faces and great attention to detail. Avery nice addition to anyVolkstedt or Porcelain Collection.

The figurine consists of 2 standing figures,in a gentle embrace,on a raised oval base decorated with flowers&scrolls.The figuresare hand painted with great attention todetail in the faces, hands, hair and the lace/floral design in her dress. The blue under glaze hallmark can be found on the bottom.

This piece is from the estate of a Hungarian family that immigrated to the U.S. over 70 years ago.

Thefigurine measuresapprox. 6\" tall by 4 3/4\" wide.

This item is an Estate piece and inexcellent condition.Amazingly, there are no cracks,breaks or repairsto the arms, legs, necks or base. The Dresden Lace is 98% intact! The fingers are all there minus the lady\'s right thumb and there are a couple of fleabites on the flowers on the base, typical with this type of figurine. As usual, we will leave cleaning to the new owners if they choose to do so.The photos show it all.Please use the zoom tool on the photos provided to inspect the items.Photos are part of our description.
