CHESS SET

Mid 20th Century Solid Wood Universum Space AgeChess Set designed by Arthur Elliott for ANRI, Italy. Comes in original box, fitted with individual areas for each chess piece, there is a seperate tray that fits in the box. On the lid of the box is a sticker that reads ANRI SPACE AGE Designed by Elliott . This is the originalbox and chess pieces only, there is no board. Each piece iscrafted in a unique moderndesign. As you can see there are both dark and light pieces. Each piece has a felt pad on the bottom , the chess pieces are all in very good condition, but there is one piece a knight that has been replaced by a different piece as seen in pictures,, so only one of the pieces is not the original,, . The King is approximately 4\" tall, the Pawns approximately 1 7/8\" tall. . There is felt padding on the bottom of the inside of the box and the tray. It is a great chess set. Beautiful and graceful in it\'s design. Aclassic.
