This is a crank, portable phonograph in a wood case.

Portable phonographs were very popular during the \"Roaring Twenties\", as they

allowed people to take their music with them to parks, picnics or outdoor events.

This machine is in good clean condition. It has not been restored. The motor works and is quiet. It cranks fully, plays a full record and the break stops the turntable though it may need adjustment. The hings, crank and outside handle are all good with light wear. The wooden cabinet is in good condition with two hairline cracks and small spot of veneer loss. The Orthophonic reproducer is in very good condition and works. The original needle rest is still intact and in good condition. The tone arm and inside metal parts are all clean. There is a bracket to hold the tone arm and crank for safe travel.
