Here is a stunning antique (circa 1940\'s) black Fountain Pen Desk Set (pen is about 7 3/4\" long) with excellent shiny marble base and large \"Eversharp\" nib, 14 K gold, fine/medium point. Working fine, writes a super smooth line. Excellent condition, looks to be barely used. Heavy base is also excellent, no nicks or fleabites or chips at all. Size of base - about 3.5 x 2.5 inches. Amazing condition. Lever fill, nice gold filled trim with no brassing at all. Excellent professional set from the days of the lever fillers by one of the Big Four Fountain Pen manufacturers, highest quality, excellent for a daily writer or a collection. These were the top of the line models advertised in the old magazines, presenting top executive stature. Eversharp imprints on nib and barrel of pen, gold seal double checkmark on pen. Nice felt bottom to the base, with Eversharp label there as well.
