I am selling an inexpensive / budget version of a British style WW1 PHG Gas Hood (based upon the style of ones worn at the Battle of Loos in 1915).
It would be suitable for fancy dress, school plays, parties, murder mystery events, stage work, non serious re-enactments or just to look sinister! The PHG Gas Hood is made from light grey-bluey coloured stretchy cotton fabric with 2 eye pieces that are very similar to real ones (made from plastic - clear lenses and indented rims made to look metalic) and a black valve flapper.
The cotton has not been soaked in any anti-gas chemicals so is safe to wear.This PHG Gas Hood will offer the wearer no protection at all so is unsuitable for use against gas, smoke, dust or anything similar!
Just like any other gas masks, it steams up inside and gets hot when worn so gives you a genuine feeling of what a real one was like to wear.
