You are offerding on a VINTAGE WW1 US M1917 STEEL HELMET WITH ORIGINAL LINER. This helmet which is commonly known as a doughboy helmet is in nice condition for its age. The helmet has the original leather strap and is stamped ZC193 on the inside rim area. The helmet outside shell has the majority of its original sandy texture. The liner has the leather band and some of the netting. It also has the original center instruction tag. The tag has the name Winton hand written on it. I unfolded the black part of the headband lining and determined that the back side of the black cloth is stamped with manufacturer name and date R.H. LONG 7-18.
