This sale is for a WW2 Era US Military Canvas Duffel Bag. This Duffel Bag does not have any Branch Markings below the side handle or and Manufacturer Markings and date. Army Marked Bags normally have a \"US\" below the handle. The same below the handle markings can be seen on Navy \"USN\" marked bags as well as Marine Corps \"USMC\" marked bags. The only marking on the bag offered here for sale is a \"SUPPLY DEPT\" meaning Supply Depot. I believe this Duffel Bag was never issued to an individual soldier. It was instead used as a US Milityary Supply Depot probably to help carry items around in at the Quarter Master Depot. It is hard to say if this is an Army, Marine, or Navy used item. The stiching threads in the bag are non synthedic fibers. I believe this bag to be a Second World War era constructed item. I show some black & white photos from a reference book that has information about this type of item. That book is not offered for sale here in this sale. All that is for sale here is a duffel bag that is in used condition with some minor dirt and stains from use. And a few minor holes. I don\'t think this is a common Duffel Bag, most would have a soldier\'s name and number. There were probably way fewer supply depot marked bags like this one.

Condition:

These items are in used condition and may have defects such as stains, moth holes, dirt, dents, scratches, etc. These items are 70 years old and things slowly get destroyed by time. Please do not expect something in new condition. These items are in used condition.

Shipping:

Shipping will be done via the US Postal Service. Priority Mail will be the means of shipping and Delivery Confirmation will be used. Overseas buyers will have a Unitesd States Customs Declaration Form Tracking Number. The item weighs around 5 lbs in an open box as a rough weight for listing purposes. I won\'t know the shipping weight until the item is taken to my local post office. I am not an employee of the USPS and the weight is just a rough measurement for listing purposes. PLEASE DO NOT SEND ME PAYMENT UNTIL I SEND YOU AN INVOICE FIRST!!!!!!!!!!! The Shipping amount is just a rough guess baised on the weight of the item in an open box. I only package an item after it sells and then take it to the post office so the clerk can inform me of the correct shipping amount. Then I send the buyer an invoice with the correct shipping amount. I am not doing this as a business, I am just some guy trying to sell off my private collection of Militaria in order to try and pay some bills. I am using as a garage sale. If I can use a USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate box to send the item in, I\'ll mail it in one of those. A Small Priority Mail Flat Rate box costs $5.95 to mail within the United States. A Medium Priority Mail Flat Rate box costs $12.65 to mail within the United States. A Large Priority Mail Flat Rate box costs $17.90 to mail within the United States. I don\'t know overseas prices, but I do know it costs $61.75 to mail a Large Priority Mail Flat Rate box to the following nations. (Brazil, United Kingdom, France, Italy, Netherlands, Australia, and Taiwan.)
