WWI US Army M1910 Mills Dismounted Cartridge Belt w/Rimmed EagleSnaps. These early belts are RARE due to the limited production of this design.

This belt was manufactured by the Mills Company. The10 pocket cartridge belt in both rimless and rimmed eagle snaps was worn by thefirst doughboys of the AEF who arrived in France, 1917. Each pocket could holdtwo 5 round stripper clips of .30-06 ammo for the M-1903 Springfield Rifle, theM-1917 Enfield, or the British Short Magazine Lee Enfield No. 1 Mark III. Beltsmade before 1917 had a retaining strap in each pocket to hold one of the two 5round stripper clips.

The Mills M1910 belt hereappears to bedated 1915 and has rimmed eaglesnaps. M1910 cartridge belts would be made through 1917 with eagle snaps.

The belt is in Very Good Condition, with minor wear evident,no rips, tears, or fraying. This is a10-pocket belt, with the \"puckered\" pockets. Each pocket has the RARE Rimmed EagleSnaps. It has the Mills markings andpatent dates on the buckles. Under theflap onone side is the Mills Marking.It is very light and difficult toread: The date appears to be 1915.
