Issue cap of olive drab wool with brown bound leather visor, green on the underside, and chin strap with rimless bronze side buttons. Has a round bronze enlisted pattern eagle cap insignia backed with a sky blue wool disc on the obverse. Interior with olive cotton liner and leather sweatband. Has an hand printed name \"SPECK\" on the lining crown. No mothing and only slight service wear. No size markings but probably about size 7. Good example of a scarce WWI issue cap and the colored insignia backing was only used for a short period of time. Good condition. High buyer pays $8.00 shipping and handling in the US.
