WWII HUGE AERONAUTICAL MAP FROM QUONSET POINT NAVAL AIR BASE CONTROL TOWER RI !!

This is a large military aeronautical map of the Eastern USA. The story behind the map is that it wastaken from the main air traffic control tower in Quonset Point Naval Air Baseshortly before it was demolished. It was discovered behind a corkboard that setinto the frame which hid and preserved the map. The map has been used and showsage appropriate honest wear. There are no interstates present on the map which couldassist in dating this piece. There is also a magnified area to the bottom rightwhich zooms in on Rhode Island / Boston area. The map measures about 75\" x 48\" and is mounted to a heavy wood board. It would make an excellent addition to any collection!
