Please read our grading rules. so you can have a better idea . please keep in mind that there is a big difference in a VG,F,VF,NM, in a silver age comic and a modern age comic. for that reason i insist in telling each costumer to scan every picture before buy a comic. (anywhere not just here) you will receive your comic bagged and boarded, as a collector i know the importance to receive a comic in the same condition as i bought it ...NEAR MINT CONDITION ..all the comics we receive that are in exceptional condition fall into this category.for the most part.they are comics that are unread or were perhaps read once,this is a collectible and would meet the standard of the vast majority of collectors .here are some other specificstears.only a very minor(1/8 inch or less) tear might be acceptable .corner bends ,only allowance if hardly noticeable.spine stress marks.only allowable if hardly noticeable.staples.must be nice and tight including centerfoldwriting only small arrival dates are allowedrubber stamps .not allowed in this grade.tape.no tape allowed in this grade. pieces missing are not allowed . finger prints noticeable reduce a comic from NM TO VF/NMNOT ALLOWED IN THIS GRADE. water stains ,folds. spine rolling.VERY FINE CONDITION.not acceptable .tape ,writing .missing pieces .folds. water stain. water damage.acceptable.finger prints,not perfectly centered staples . small bend in corners. (only if its small bend)FINE CONDITION.comics in fine condition are priced significantly less than vf and for a good reason . they will always have some short of slight flaw. but still collectable .those condition have tears. corner bends.spine stress . noticeable finger prints. and some may have dust marks,VERY GOOD CONDITIONi will focus on this category because its the most common comic condition in most of old comic from golden to bronze age,they have been read more than 10 times. and show considerable wear and have many flaws . but they are tight firm comics.they are not significantly damaged in any way, they are not considered \"INVESTMENT GRADE\"this is only for readers. its value wont increase much in years to come. but you can always have the joy to read a good comic without pay 100s,ACCEPTABLE .tears .several minor tears. or one mayor tear allowed . corner bends allowed. spine stress usually evident allowed unless the comic has bend in half.staple marks are allowed. staples must be attached both. outside and centerfold. if not the comic falls into good conditionTAPE.here we have a big controversy . most dealers allow a small tape repair. in this category. i dont accept it. and if i see a comic with tape . it falls into repaired comic or good condition comic.spine roll allowed if not excessive .
