Provides extensive coverage of the American Civil War both in its \"Foreign News\" section and in the dramatic, engraved illustrations throughout. In addition to the war, covers other events of note including the trials and tribulations of Garibaldi, an exhibition in the Crystal Palace, and other events within the United Kingdom.
