Here\'sthe Extremely Rare 1967 Krewe of Zulu .999 Fine Silver Doubloon. The doubloon measures 39 mm or 1 1/2\" in diameter and isinExcellentCondition.Payment due within 48 hours of purchase.Note: This doubloon was designed by H. Alvin Sharpe, the creator of the Mardi Gras Doubloon, and bears his familiar \'HAS\' initials. The Krewe of Zulu issued the doubloons designed by Mr. Sharpe at their annual Mardi Gras Ball. Reverse features an African Hausa Tribesman. Mr. Sharpe designed the \"Tribes and Princeps\" Series of doubloons for the Krewe of Zulu. These 1967 Zulu Fine Silver doubloons were issued in very limited number and are extremely difficult to find these days in any venue. The 2013 Doubloon Guide lists this doubloon at $70.00. (Unless specifically described as toning, any Gold, Green and Purple hues appearing on a doubloon are the reflection of a Mardi Gras Banner which hangs above my desk.)
