Was appointed officer of the Austrian Brigade of the Turkish army.

As part of his duties was able to go around with his camera.

Was a founder of Bezalel, Jerusalem and taught there.

Prize: Worthy of Jerusalem.

In the 1920s was the first Israeli to make a film about Israel, “Return to Zion”.

Died 1968, Jerusalem.
