Lovely original acrylic painting by Maine artist, Catherine Breer. 18\"x18\" gallery wrap. Signed, though not dated. Painted in 1999 or 2000 and purchased at Breer\'s first exhibit with Freeport Community Library in Freeport, Maine. This is an early piece in what has gone on to be a great career for this artist. The yellows and blues in this piece are not often found in Breer\'s newer work.
Also included is a 14\" x 22\" signed commemorative print produced for the 10-year anniversary of the Freeport Library in their new location. The painting for the print was created in 2007 especially for the anniversary and is now in the permanent collection at the library. There are tack holes at the four corners of the print.
