Young Teen Civil War Soldier Tintype Photo 1860s / Nr For Salestyle="text-decoration:none" height="27px" valign="middle" face="arial" Original circa 1861 sixth-plate tintype of a young Civil War soldier,
looks to be in his teens to me. He's casually posed with his kepi
cocked at a slight angle. Cheeks are lightly tinted pink.
There's definitely a photographer's name/studio embossed on the
mat, but it's worn and hard for me to read. I think I seePhiladelphia,
or just "Phila", in the middle.
Sixth-plate. Case is 3.75" x 3.25" when closed.
ConditionMy photo wastaken in a well-lit room with no flash. Some light spotting and other aging on the plate, and a soft
bend. The bend is very light; I can only see it when I hold
the tintype at an angle in light. The case shows wear and is separated at the spine.
Payment due in 3 days unless other arrangements have been madewith me beforehand. An unpaid item case will automatically be opened
on the third day.Shipping
